So 'they' have decided to raise the BC HST in a matter of weeks but still have not raised the minimum wage that has the city of Richmond complaining for years.
With taxes going up, there will be more pressure for the citizens of Richmond, with only a minimum wage of $8.00. This wage for some only keeps them above the poverty line.
BC HST is something that affects all of us, but in the end, the money goes to the government. For this, isn't it already unfair since the government should be the one giving benefits to the citizens?
If your child was crying would you not tend to them?, So if a big percentage of Richmond is crying because they can't afford to survive, would you not want to help them in the best way you can?
Please give us your opinions and what can be done about this.
